The much anticipated Baroque Gypsy Couture Trunk Show highlighting Vignettes’ 14th year Anniversary Soiree on September 19th is being produced by: Les Femmes Boheme, a fabulous trio of talent comprised of: Joy Gabler - The Vintage Rabbit, Sherry Mattia-Welch - Glamarella Junk & Mary Smilove - Sweetpeas & Snapshots.
Individually, these haute designers have each made a huge name for themselves with their uber chic, trend-setting, wildly imaginative creations that have been featured in fashion & style magazines & at shows throughout the country. Then together, by combining their brilliant creativity, pure whimsical magic has been catapulted into the eye candy stratosphere!
For the trunk show, Vignettes’ will provide the perfect glamorous setting for live models, wearing Les Femmes’ over-the-top, wild Gypsy couture & carrying vintage props, to stroll & mingle throughout the shop. This unique ‘Pret-a-Porter’ style (ready to wear) trunk show will run from 2:00 to 4:00 & everything featured that day, on the models, spilling out of trunks & adorning mannequins will be for sale.
Joy will be showcasing a topsy turvy tangle of fabulous Gypsy femme baubles & bangles with a wild bohemian flora & fauna theme.
Sherry features an entire line of vintage couture, hand-dyed slips, hip & chic tee-shirts embellished with crystals & a line of jewels that are vintage jewelry pieces recreated & reworked into stylish necklaces, bracelets & rings.
Mary magically repurposes vintage textiles & hats into millinery masterpieces with jewels, peacock feathers, velvet flowers & ribbons.
Come & celebrate with us & drink in their fabulous creations. Their wearable art is wildly intoxicating & bubbling over with magnums of OOH LA LA ….let the champagne corks start popping!

Why, oh why, are all of the fabulous shows somewhere other than where I am? (Maryland. Well and with the exception of my own shows - which are well on their way to being fabulous too!)
I just wish I could go to all of the great ones I read about!
